Hello. Welcome to my page. I’m glad you found me here. This is my page where I try to do a better job of keeping track of and documenting the things that matter to me. Also of the things that I have done, said, written that gives you an idea of what and how I think.

I am a product of Hong Kong; even though I went to international school, then to boarding school in UK and then undergraduate in the US. I’ve spent almost all my professional career in Asia. I’ve lived in six countries and nine cities, been to 34 countries in five continents and it’s my aspiration to go to all seven continents. I hope my travels have made me more culturally aware.

My background and career path is messy and non-linear. And that’s okay and I like it that way. I spent 12 years after college figuring out who I am and what I care about before I realised that I want to work in the social and impact sector. I have had a privileged upbringing because my parents were savvy enough to give me the best education they could afford, and to have the means and resources to give me opportunities that make me who I am today. I’m truly thankful for that.

I have many interests and can’t claim to be an expert in many. I have a hard time sitting still, preferring to be both physically active and / or mentally alert. I like to learn. I like to ask questions. I like to think I’m reflective (but I don’t know if that’s really true). I want to be as authentic as I can. I want to push myself out of my comfort zone every now and then. I want to take on more challenges: both physical and mental. I also love to bake - especially cookies, brownies, muffins (less so cakes and bread).
